Pros

Can't think of any pros

Cons

Executive Management Team is so disconnected from reality. Their vision is great but I think they have no idea that the vision isn't coming to fruition. Technology isn't advancing, they don't seek any employee contribution which leaves employees feeling unfulfilled and unable to make a difference in the company

Pros

Good hours - typical 9-5, 401k, enjoyed working with my co-workers, occasionally overtime was available. Prior to buyout they offered bus fare reimbursement.

Cons

With the recent ownership change, they eliminated many long term employees due to their higher pay scales. New temp employees were being brought in for $2 less an hour and had little or no knowledge within the industry. After new ownership - benefits for health insurance changed to extremely high deductible only plans and the elimination of flex play. Never received a raise after 9.5 years. Management turnover was high - every few months. Employee turnover high after change in ownership.

Pros

Free lunch and then I can't think of anything else.

Cons

This is a company that constantly focuses on distractions. This is not by accident, but it's actually how they stay away from dealing with their own issues and instead put shiny objects that are nothing more than empty shells. This starts with the CEO. He's way over his head on this job. I think he figured out a long time ago that he has no clue on how to run this business, so he keeps repeating his cliches that don't mean anything and don't add anything. This company has nothing to offer to the market. It has 20-year-old software that is falling apart, covered in duct tape, resulting in a shrinking market share and fast track to irrelevance. Our main competitor (and market leader) runs circles around us. Instead of investing so we can catch up, we keep reducing our development/engineering workforce, accelerating the path to irrelevance. What is is like to work there? Basically hell. There's no sense of respect for people. We are constantly pushed emergency work that doesn't mean anything, and end up working overnight/weekends to deliver work that goes into a black hole. This company lives by hiding: hiding the sad state of its products, the incompetency of its leadership, the fake nature of its strategy... You can see that in the fake posts on Glassdoor.
