Pros

Reasonable hours in the evening you can go home Nice people, for the most part Mission-driven company

Cons

Starting from CEO (no vision or guts to make any real changes to bring the company to its true potential), management is beyond dysfunctional - inept, incompetent, unqualified, territorial, temperamentally unfit to manage people, you name it! You will not learn anything, won't contribute beyond how far your boss can see and will tell you. God forbids you display any initiative - a big no-no (your manager will interpret it as you trying to grab her/his seat). Going out for lunch for 20 min to the cafeteria? It is a crime your manager will hold against you, guaranteed.

Pros

There are still some really caring people that I worked with directly.

Cons

I was on a company call where the head bean counters actually said the best way to save money was to get rid of people. When people leave the company other people are expected to do their job as well. I was not given the resources I needed to help support me or my client. If the client reported an issue with our product to me, it would take upwards of a month to get back to them because the team researching these issues to correct them was understaffed. This tells me that the company does not care about their client or their employees. Products are constantly with issues. It is very difficult telling a customer at least once a month that there was a huge and very expensive issue that they will get backlash from their dealerships on. This is unacceptable. People are trying to jump ship as fast as they can.

Pros

Some good and talented people.

Cons

Management is typically arrogant and clueless. Job openings most often filled by new hires, so very little opportunity for advancement or career development. Very poor internal communication.
