Pros

As an employee of Soliant, you control your future. I feel as though you are the biggest factor in how much money you make or do not make as a recruiter. Soliant also offers optional company activities such as bowling, golfing, biking and kickball to name a few. This company is also involved in many charity events in which every employee can contribute not only monetarily but also donate by giving of their time. Soliant is definitely a company I am proud to work for.

Cons

Some may say there are not enough opportunities for growth. Personally, I am not interested in a "title" but more interested in recognition, which I believe Soliant does a good job of representing through our tiered reward system based on the number of travelers on assignment. Rewards include time off, jean days, free breakfast on Fridays, and bi-annual lunch with the president. And, of course, the more travelers you have working the more money you make.

Pros

We are a family that supports each other and communicates directly. I have been with Soliant for over 10+ years and am not alone. A lot of the employees have been with Soliant for 5+ years. The whole company feels like a family. They truly want to see you succeed and help you out every way they can. Management is very accessible, which I didn't realize was unique until I worked for someone else. David Alexander is very humble and approachable. In fact, most mornings he's the one making the coffee and greeting the staff!

Cons

Company is growing which always involves constant change and the need for some process improvement. The company has great benefits and training programs, but I think they need to communicate them more to the employees. Don't assume that everyone knows about them (especially the new people)...hit them over the head with them! I'd suggest creating a campaign that showcases all the perks of the job.

Pros

I worked at Soliant for nearly 5 years. The only reason I left the company was because I had a very long commute. I was properly trained and completely prepared to run my own desk. The job itself is independent and you are able to manage your day according to what works best for you. Not only are you paid a fair base salary, but the commission structure is rewarding and lucrative. Also, the insurance is insanely wonderful. I made more money than many of my friends right out of college. My manager not only became a wonderful friend but I truly believed that they believed in me more than I did. The team is amazing and I have honestly made lifelong friends at Soliant. The company is also very philanthropic; donating time and money to several organizations throughout Atlanta. I have read the negative comments on this website and can only think that these have come from individuals that were in the wrong department...or ones that might have not shown the results that are needed in an efforts based position. I'm sorry that they did not come out of Soliant with a positive outlook. Any job can have negative aspects, but the overall experience I had at Soliant was wonderful.

Cons

As I have read in other reviews I can agree that there is not much room for advancement. But honestly, the managers do not have the ability to make the commission that the Account Executives make. I never had my eye on management positions purely for this reason. Being a healthcare recruiter can be stressful. But it can also be very lucrative!
