Pros

Some people are great! Others are complete garbage

Cons

Most won’t to do anything. Uninspired overworked with no clear expectations or goals set. Liars and fakes. No one takes responsibility for their mistakes and it get passed down with the most non logical excuses. It’s a frat party with the “bros” at the top. So many back door dealings and lies it’s impossible to keep up. 10 hour days turn into 14+ with no appreciation. The moral of the story here is that no one cares about the company they care about themselves. Don’t believe the “we’re trying to make culture better” speech.

Pros

High RPM business with excellent culture and values. Tons of growth and opportunities.

Cons

Nothing that doesn't occur in every business; meetings that could be emails, etc.

Pros

A solid group of respectful, fun, and genuinely kind people that make working here amazing. The company is experiencing incredible growth which means the opportunities to challenge yourself come very often which make for an intellectually stimulating environment for creative & resourceful problem solvers. A truly balanced and understanding workplace environment that understands that life outside of Soligent exists and your peers show genuine support of you. No guilt/shame in taking time out to go see the doctor. No gender biases - it’s been mentioned in several reviews that there is a “bro culture” here - I have not experienced this & feel that gender has been irrelevant to people progressing in their careers. Crossing industries - I came to Soligent with zero industry knowledge, but was quickly able to apply my skills and experience from other industries and felt many best practices were still relevant despite the specifics of being within solar. The CEO is intelligent and more importantly, humble. He does not wield his authority arbitrarily & makes collaboration a priority. He’s an admitted work in progress which makes working for/with him a privilege.

Cons

Executive team is slow to make difficult/critical decisions. At times, getting their buy in requires everyone to sign off which hinges on each persons jam packed schedules & too much time passes between when the need for a decision has surfaced to when we finally make the decision. Reliable & accurate data, tools, and reporting have been a major pain point in being able to do the job well. They’ve done a few hires recently that is healing this pain point - but this is currently a real struggle.
