New company (Solventum), with an 80+ year track record (3M), means there's lots of opportunities for growth and also means there is stability with the company as the market knows and trusts the solutions. Remote locations and flexible schedule while maintaining facilities with in-person meaningful events, if desired. Competitive pay - they track the national average and target above, bringing you up yearly if you're below. The culture is heavily influenced by the previous parent company, 3M, which is famous for it. The employees are respectful professionals, and provide an open, continuous learning and growth environment.

Cons

Remote work connection struggles. All businesses are learning navigate the remote world and the silos and lack of communication that come with that. Solventum is not immune to this struggle but is making efforts to bring remote people together meaningfully. The growth structure within your role, or moving to other roles is not clear and guidance is not documented, meaning the employee has to take full charge of that path, and rely heavily on their direct supervisor, or network with others.
