Pros

Sonatus is a small but rapidly growing company. I'm pleased to find so many experts from many different fields, yet all of them are so highly collaborative and great to work with. I can honestly say it's a pleasure to go to work every day. For our headquarters, I love the snacks, drinks, and food provided. We have passionate baristas so the coffee is always excellent. The business is growing well, with millions of vehicles using our technology so it's exciting to see vehicles rolling down the street with our tech

Cons

We have lots of work to do because there is so much customer interest. We are growing rapidly and hiring many new staff to continue to respond to the many engagements

Cons

Company Culture and Leadership: "The company's culture was stronger before the expansion, recent promotions, and reorganization. The resulting cultural shocks are expected when engineers are rapidly promoted to director-level positions. There is a crucial distinction between a successful leader and a boss. A true leader enhances their team’s performance, while a boss who undermines team members creates competition and fosters distrust within the team." Success and Results: "Despite all the claims of success, there have been no tangible results or new customer growth." Hiring and Layoffs: "They claim that hiring people from different locations worldwide signifies the company’s expansion. However, in reality, they are laying off existing employees at the same rate, aiming to cut costs by hiring less expensive overseas talent." Management Practices: "Toxic managers are always seeking excuses to assert their authority and find someone to blame. A good manager, on the other hand, does not repeatedly bring up the same feedback when discussing performance. Productive feedback should provide solutions and highlight strengths as well as weaknesses, rather than just focusing on negative points. Isolating employees and pushing them to work up to the last minute before laying them off are signs of poor management." Career Growth and Rewards: "There is no clear path for career growth; instead, you may receive minor rewards like a project lead role or an Amazon gift card by going above and beyond, often at the expense of working around the clock, which contributes to an unhealthy work culture."
