Pros

The job is steady, with consistent hours and overtime available, which is great for those looking to maximize their pay. The coworkers are generally friendly, and there’s a good sense of teamwork on the floor. The company also provides adequate safety training and ensures that equipment is well-maintained, which makes the job feel secure.

Cons

There’s very little opportunity for advancement. You basically stay in the same role unless someone leaves, and even then, promotions are rare. The work can be physically demanding, with long hours of standing.

Pros

Lots of potlucks. You get your schedule for the entire year the day you start work.

Cons

Hostile work environment, management does nothing. The machines are rediculously old and falling apart, literally held together by package labels
