      Growing business with potential for new products Investments in Training & people development, Plant Infrastructure and modern equipment Employee engagement is improving with more emphasis on continuous improvement

      Cons

      Support from Divisional and Corporate resources is inconsistent Matrix organization with overlapping responsibilities leads to slow decisions Lean staffing leaves little room for succession planning

As you mention, there are challenges faced in a matrix organization (as with any other) that we're constantly trying to improve upon.       Great company, lots of support

      Pros

      Sonoco really loves to help their employees grow. They invest in the training and development of each of their employees and help you reach your career goals. The culture is top notch and feels like you are part of a family.

      Cons

      The onboarding process isn't very consistent. While there are opportunities to be promoted, its not as fast as other companies because people don't tend to leave Sonoco for a long time.

      Pros

      Great company that truly cares about their employees. I'm sure you'll see some negative reviews but keep in mind there are over 200 facilities world wide and not all of them will be the same. I would highly recommend Sonoco.

      Cons

      Like all manufacturing there's always more to do then time and people to do it
