      Two faced management in Beauty Park.

      Pros

      Good hours good company but they don't treat employees fairly. There are favorites that are the problem and get away with everything.

      Cons

      Management does not communicate. They have a few favorites that cause all the trouble and get away with it. The favorites can do whatever they want. People do not get promotions unless they are favorites of the "front office ". You have to friends with the HR Dept. HR makes their own rules to fit their friends and are very inconsistent and unfair. One of the poorest communications management group I've been associated with. Upper Management has a problem being truthful. This is the Beauty Park Plastics Div in New Albany, Ohio

      Doesn't care about hourly employees

      Pros

      Decent benefits and pay. That's about it. Even that is becoming more and more scarce.

      Cons

      No communication between hourly employees and management, in fact no communication in management either. Senior department managers cannot be trusted, they will lie to keep employees "on a leash." Good work is not valued, those who break rules, are rude to supervision and abuse "privileges" are rewarded. Brown nosers are rewarded as well until they are no longer useful. The company is not family oriented as they claim, they could care less about employees families. Cutthroat in how they treat supposed under-educated hourly workers. Anything you say to a manager will be used against you later. Plant manager says he does not want an us and them attitude between hourly employees and management, but his actions indicate otherwise. No chance for advancement unless you are in the clique, or have someone from corporate who looks out for you. This company expects employees to make sacrifices to work there but refuse to show appreciation for it. This was a much better company when the Cokers had control, at least most of them knew our names.

      If you like a place where open jobs are not posted but are mysteriously filled over night and there is no opportunity for development or advancement - apply today. You will love it.

      Cons

      Not open to change or a challenge to the status quo.
