Pros

Awesome product and people. I'm still friends with my ex-coworkers. It's a fun work environment with really smart folks. The open door policy of management is a true policy not just a catch phrase for the most part. They offer good benefits for being a smaller company (including an employee discount on the products). It was one of my favorite places to work.

Cons

Pay isn't necessarily top end. The dual "headquarters" can make it a challenge to get things done efficiently at times.

Pros

Great culture, Competitive Pay and Benefits, Multiple global work locations, challenging work.

Cons

After going public (IPO) many of the original founders, engineers, and experts started to cash out and exit. They deserved it! It took them 15 yrs. of very painful hard work and discipline to create the Sonos brand and reputation of great sound, reliable products and one of the highest NPS in the industry. The original CEO was extremely careful and protective of the brand and reputation. Since then, the latest software release has not gone well at atll.

Pros

*Very good work/life balance and culture among the employees *Competitive salaries *open time off *Very inclusive and collaborative environment *promote growth within the company and open to career changes/team changes within the company

Cons

Lay offs seem to happen more and more frequently within the company. No matter how good the work/life is, end of the day, leadership from the top is concerned with the bottom line: to increase return for investors and to achieve exponential and unsustainable growth. Management is really banking everything on a new product and frankly they are a bit delusional.
