Top Down Decision Making, Low Pay

Pros

Good people, but the money and the stress is t worth it

Cons

Has become much more corporate throughout the years , very top down , non collaborative form of management style. Pay is NOT COMPETITIVE to tech industry standards. For the same amount / difficulty of work would get much more at another tech company

Pros

Good pay and CEO cares about employees. Allowed to take care time as needed to deal with Covid WFH situation. As company succeeds employees are also rewarded.

Cons

A lot of conflict with delegation of work between teams. Teams have difficulty working with each other. Upper management is overloaded with pressure to do too many things without the resources needed to get it done.

Pros

Cool mission. Great products. Way more engaging an inspiring place to work vs one of the Big Tech giants.

Cons

Smaller company. Less sophisticated on some of HR issues. Liberal bent and focused on social justice issues (which can also be a positive depending on your perspective).
