      Great place to work, but get in the right department!

      Pros

      Working on the lot is amazing - you really feel like you're in the middle of things here. The occasional movie star sighting and the perks like screenings and company activities are great!

      Cons

      In my particular department we are all contractors. This means zero vacation, zero benefits and not much chance of wanting to stay for a long period of time because of that.

      Pros

      Relaxed studio culture. Great mentors and good opportunities to get hands-on experience. Would highly recommend this opportunity for those who know they want to work in this industry.

      Cons

      Tends to require interns taking initiative to make meaningful contacts (but this is hardly a huge problem), not really a bridge to full-time employment.
