Pros

Great people with high communication skills, respectfulness to each other, expertize.

Cons

Upper management, whether in Japan or the U.S., is consumed by political struggles for self-preservation. Instances of power harassment and gender discrimination are occasionally observed. Some individuals even resort to shouting when things don't go their way, creating an extremely outdated environment. Those who manage to climb the ranks within such a system excel at building networks and maneuvering within Sony, but they gain no skills or experiences that are applicable outside the company.

Pros

Great benefits. Good pay. Well known company.

Cons

Awful middle management and despicable senior managers. No work life balance. Poor HR. Poor leadership throughout the company. Lots of busy work and work done only to look busy. Many people within the organization care more about the way they are portrayed to others instead of actually acomplishing anything of real value.
