The acquisition is destroying what was an amazing company
Pros
Unlimited leave, decent healthcare coverage. Sourced WAS the best cloud consultancy in the region for regulated industries before the amdocs takeover. Sourced still has a very strong brand in FSI but this is increasingly becoming undeserved.
Cons
Some clashing of values and culture is to be expected in an acquisition, but in this case, it was opposite sides of the spectrum. Sourced was always known for its integrity, high quality, and prioritising delivering client value. In my experience, amdocs has no integrity, celebrates incompetency and apathy, and prioritises extracting client money over delivering client value. Compared to Sourced, i believe its solutions and services are sub-par quality at best and dangerously inept at worst. As their influence and, in my opinion, lack of positive values encroach more and more on the Sourced way of working, I could no longer risk my mental health by continuing to work for Amdocs. They are, in my experience, one of the most morally bankrupt and inept organisations I have ever had the misfortune to be part of. I wish my Sourced colleagues all the best and hope they find new employment where their brilliant minds are appreciated and valued. I already deeply miss working with them and hope they know that my views are not aimed at them.
