Pros

literally none my fellow coworkers who were also unsupported/disrespected/underpaid

Cons

I worked for SSAC every day for about 8 months and got let go of due to “being late” after driving through a tornado and other things out of my control. My coworker and I quite literally kept everything together every day doing everything while NEVER getting noticed or thanked or even appreciated in the slightest by any “higher ups” who would just sit in their offices all day, watch you for 6 mins a week then make their judgments on you during what they saw. My former BCBA was never in the room, never thanked us for any work or helped out at all and somehow took all of the credit for all of the things my coworker and I did. He would interrupt my sessions to ask me to clean the room even though hes been sitting in an office all day. I was under appreciated, under paid, disrespected, and talked down to by clinical directors who dont even know half of the kids names or favorite colors. They claim to be “flexible” and “pro mental health” yet tracked me as late for having a 15 minute panic attack in my car because my friend passed away. I basically raised those children every day for other peoples paychecks, and the person who “fired” me wouldnt let me say goodbye to anyone or anybody just kicked me out like dirt after being physically and mentally beaten down by that place for almost a year:) The amount of times I have gotten bitten, cut, or seriously injured while being on the job due to holding everything together and they would throw me an ibu profen and tell me to “get back in there” The RBT’s are amazing, but we are all in agreement that the higher ups are INCREDIBLY rude, unempathethic, and just beyond disrespectful.
