Pros

Awesome Company, Good and kind people. I personally love my manager and the other supervisor I work with, CEO is a kind-hearted man, Christian Values. Most drivers/freight handlers are understanding of the decisions you make just stick to your word and if you're wrong about something - have integrity and admit your mistake but NEVER ever apologize for anything. Everybody will respect you a lot more. Every supervisor/manager I meet is awesome. You can tell the RSVP's do a great job at hiring. One of my favorite thing is being sent off to training events, I get to hangout and learn with other people in the same role I'm in. I always learn something and apply it to my everyday workplace.

Cons

Work long hours. Hours worked depends on the shift you work. (Can be very rewarding though imo. ) I work out of a smaller service center so the workload is a lot more broad. For example, at a bigger Service Center, your work load would be more "specific/concentrated" there's more leadership present... on the other hand, you cannot afford to make a single mistake at a small service center so it can definitely be stressful. It's a "con" but it's also a huge PRO when it comes to getting promoted. You know a lot more. Not trying to scare you, but you either sink or swim. I definitely forced myself to learn how to swim my first 3 months in leadership. It was brutal trying to connect everything piece by piece .. though after 5 or so months everything becomes easy. You just get it. Now my job is VERY easy. It's definitely a TON, but I just know how everything works. I know what works, what doesn't. I have a Plan A, B, and C. You'll be good, trust me.
