      Pros

      The level of talent found in Sovos is really high. We have truly great people, and that is by far our main asset. We have a culture of hard work, knowledge sharing, and client centrality. It is fun to come to work. We face really interesting challenges that push our capacity to the limit, and help us grow professionally. We have very solid processes, that are in constant improvement. That allows us to scale and grow quickly without losing efficiency.

      Cons

      The bar is rather high, so some good people that might not get up to speed quickly enough can be left out. The pace is very intense, and there is always a lot to do, so it is up to each person to set its own pace, and allow for a healthy work-life balance.

      I've found that the company emphasizes development, and promotes those who are career-minded and want to be challenged. For those who take advantage it's a great opportunity for personal growth as part of a high-growth company.

      Cons

      This environment isn't for everyone - it's high growth and change is a constant. If you're looking for a job to pass the time or pay the bills, this probably won't be a good fit. More is expected from employees, and turnover is higher as a result.
