Thank you for sharing. It is fantastic to hear that you are enjoying some of the perks of working at Sovos – the benefits, flexible time off, having choices when it comes to where you work, the amazing company culture and our amazing team of leaders. I do hear you on the pay. I can assure you that we keep a very close eye on the market to ensure that we are competitive. I am disappointed that you feel like there is limited opportunity for growth. We have a very significant number of our employees who experience a job change or promotion each year, so I am concerned that perhaps our opportunities are not reaching you. If you would like to chat about your career (or anything else), my door is always open. Thank you for being a part of Sovos! Ruth Fornell President, Commercial Operations

Pros

Benefits, never bored, fast paced, open to ideas and feedback. No blame culture, solution driven. Gives back to the community. Coworkers are amazing. I really felt like they cared about individuals. Andy was an excellent CEO and leader of the company. I never got to meet the new one. They hire based on cultural fit than knowledge. Knowledge can be taught. I think this is so important.

Cons

Salary is not the current market rate. It's not super low, but lower than other places. The culture is what made that less important to me at the time. A handful of leaders should not be in a leadership role, every company has a few bad apples. Sovos' apples are more good than bad. A lot of turnover (there's always tons to do and processes to build, that's not for everyone.)

It’s great to hear that you had such a positive experience working at Sovos, and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Your feedback paints the picture of an engaged work environment with an open-mindedness towards ideas, supportive colleagues, and strong community involvement. I wholeheartedly agree with you on those topics. But there were two comments that really stuck out to me, and those were the ones related to a no blame culture and hiring for talent vs. experience. We emphasize finding solutions rather than assigning blame, and I think that is a testament to our focus on problem-solving and personal growth. And prioritizing talent and a strong culture add in hiring can indeed lead to a more cohesive workplace. I understand your concerns as well. As important as a strong culture and sense of community is, competitive compensation is also crucial. We do continuously monitor the market to ensure that we are aligned. And while turnover can sometimes be a challenge, it is not uncommon in companies that are constantly evolving. Interestingly, we are currently experiencing the lowest turnover the company has ever had! I want to thank you for the time you spent with us, and wish you the best of luck as you continue your journey. Kevin Cunningham Chief Financial Officer
