Pros

There is a strong sense of purpose in working at SpaceX. You will learn more per year working at SpaceX than anywhere else I know. Elon reinvests all profits into RnD, resulting in the company always being on the cutting edge. Your peers and rock stars who you learn a lot from.

Cons

Because profits are reinvested into important purposeful projects, salaries here are lower than other tech and aerospace companies. However, stock is awarded which has the potential to grow substantially, and top performers and compensated very well. Some find the hours long and the large responsibilities stressful, but I prefer this sort of work environment.
