Old company, bad attitudes from from sales executives. Many people are overqualified but committed to the cause

Pros

It was a good position, they paid well, and you could work your own hours if you prefered.

Cons

Mostly working nights and knocking doors on peoples houses. Who wants to have their door knocked on by a sales rep?

Pros

Cable is a fun job. Charter gives you all the tools and skills required to do the job and gives raises according to merit. Cable is a trade, and the opportunities are endless.

Cons

As a technician, you are the face of the company to customers. Customer service makes promises that you as the tech are expected to keep, and which can be unnecessary. Pay rate starting out could be better.
