Pros

The benefits are great. The health insurance is decent, you get paid time off (both vacation and sick time), free cable, internet, and phone, and potential to move up in the company.

Cons

The customers are awful. They are either really dumb and/or ignorant, or they're just plain mean. They will make you feel like you're personally responsible for the issues they're having. Being on the phone all day, taking call after call, is mentally draining. Management also has placed a LOT on our plates about what is required of us. There are only 5 factors on our scorecards, but we're really responsible for a whole lot more than that. You can get really great responses from customers, but if you don't follow the script, you're docked quality points.

Pros

In general, I work with extremely intelligent/hard working individuals who are great at their jobs.

Cons

Require salaried employees to work on average 50-55 hours a week. This drives away the great employees, or wears them down extremely fast.
