Pros

I think the best thing that sets Charter apart from everyone else is the diversity it shows in it's hiring process and the fact that they strongly promote from within.

Cons

I strongly believe their attendence policy is a little too strict at times but can understand since it is a call center.

Pros

Company once made a lot of money, and compensated with a lot of money. For the people they like, the promotions are almost limitless. Adlink threw some of THE BEST Christmas Parties (Mansion in the Hollywood Hills, Mansion in Beverly Hills, etc...). Given a great deal of autonomy to be your own boss, and set your own schedule (within limits).

Cons

For the people senior managers were neutral or didn't get along with, those employees could forget about a promotion entirely. During my last year with this company of 135 employees that made 300 Million Dollars that year in advertising, it was really sad to listen to all the senior managers running around claiming that "Adlink was doing terrible, and had to make some severe cutbacks". Please. If you were in a technical position, expect to spend 50, 60, or 70 hours working a week, only to be never told how good of a job you were doing, or shown even the smallest amount of gratitude for your hard efforts.
