Pros

Good culture when I was there 2 years ago. Great leadership, Looks like management isnt the same anymore so not sure at this point. But good salary especially at entry level. with commission is usually 45k+.. made 55k when I was there as a top seller

Cons

Like most retail sales - unethical practices like bundling are all over the place. if you want to get into sales you're price-based selling which isn't the best methodology. But for places to start your sales career its not bad. A lot of employees will come in and be straight lying to the customers to get higher commission/ranking than you if you're competitive. Read sales material on the side so you don't have to lie like everyone else

Pros

As a new field tech that pay is not that great but, once you complete the courses and get your makes you will make a pretty decent wage. I had no complaints about the benefits and actually found them to be top tier.

Cons

Everything falls on the tech. Even though you're training tells you not to do X,Y,Z you are expected in the field to do X,Y,S. The company spent billions, yes billions of dollars to push a product that has caused more problems and setbacks than actual successes. This led to customers picking up price hikes and a sour taste in their mouth towards the company as a whole. The removal of zone locators and what the call drip +0 routing created abismal working conditions. Getting booked work in unreasonable time slots which lead to unpleasant customer reactions when you show up an hour or 2 late. Spectrum wants no "Failed Installs". I have been explicitly told through verbal channels to activate the equipment and leave it on the customers porch if they aren't home when an install is scheduled so Spectrum can start billing them and if you don't it will count against your metrics. For every one good leader there is 5 that have no business holding their title. I have learned a valuable lesson from my time spent with this company and that's if the company doesn't respect their customers how can you ever expect them to respect their employees.
