      Pros

      Solid pay, good flexibility. It's a good job, I like it. Hybrid office schedule

      Kinda old school about WFH, that is slowly changing though.

      transfer from TWC to Charter / Spectrum

      Pros

      large growing company. New office building that may fix space problems. Some of my issues with them may stem with previously being TWC employee and not having a good conversion to new position that matched well.

      Cons

      lots of contractors, overseas contractors are behind the times with software skills and knowledge of object oriented programming. Keeping older products instead of changing to better tools inherited from TWC.

      Pros

      * Team building events are pretty frequent and usually a lot of fun * Teams are starting to talk to each other (due to influence of Time Warner Cable employees acquired in the merger in 2016)

      Cons

      * Required to work on site (no remote/work at home policy) * Network is unreliable, which makes working on IP based apps difficult
