Understaffed, physical labor not evenly distributed amongst the few employees that are present during shift. Company claims to be family oriented, but work/life balance is little or none. No flexibility in schedule, very strict policies that are employer biased, company does not value employees or hardwork, just production goals and times. I worked in the Ankeny Ia warehouse FT as a package handler and they hire alot of PT employees with mental health issues, so they are limited in their job performance which leaves the bulk of labor placed on those who do not have those issues, which I am not an opponent of equal opportunity, but if a disability prevents a person from performing a job in which they were hired then accommodations should be made so other employees do not get overworked.

FAVORITISM rules. I was told I could never leave early on Fridays because everyone would want that so they couldn't do that. But they let other people do that. People wasting company time doing unnecessary things, getting OT. Dressing how they want. Ungrateful managers who wouldn't even thank you for holding door open. The owner not giving me the time of day unless complaining about a transaction I did that brought in about $1600 when usually it costs about $12, but the amount of shipping would be too much for drivers. Not being able to take a vacation day because my manager was off which meant nothing to me because said manager couldn't do what I did. Nearly going broke trying to get vacation pay from my surgery because apparently one person handles FMLA...
