Pros
This marketing team is by far the best I've worked with in my career. Leadership gives us room and autonomy to make our own decisions and expects us to rise to the occasion in return. The people themselves are among the smartest and most strategic I've worked with and there isn't a single person on the team who's afraid to help out and get their hands dirty when the work calls for it. Despite the high functioning team, the pressure is minimal. Everyone understands what we're here to do and because we're given the time and resources we need, fire drills are few and far between. Pay is good. Recognition is frequent. Learning opportunities and room for growth are everywhere.
Cons
Once in a while the team has made hiring mistakes and brought people into the team that aren't of the same caliber and then the rest of the group has to pull more than their weight. But in the few times this has happened, it's recognized quickly and has never become a permanent or long term situation.
