      Changed after Cisco acquisition, and not necessarily for the better

      Pros

      - talented and capable colleagues, good bosses - as long as the work gets done, you have a lot of freedom regarding how you do your work, very flexible - good WLB, no RTO mandates (so far)

      Cons

      - personally perceived lack of clarity from leadership and management regarding the direction. AI seems to be the solution to every problem - increased bureaucracy and red tape, processes take longer, communication is not as good as it was before, and it feels more difficult to "just get stuff done" (the typical downsides of a big corporation) - personally perceived increase of office politics in higher management

      Pros

      Passionate and all employees are treated equally regardless of backgrounds .Benefits were excellent, and the global team support was very kind. Working in Splunk was a lot of fun.

      Cons

      The need for BDR has diminished. As companies grow larger, the interesting aspects have become fewer.
