      - product is top notch and loved by customers - very strong brand - one platform, endless use cases

      Cons

      - transition from on-prem to pure cloud business comes with its problems - processes need to be optimized instead of just adding new people (optimize first, hire afterwards) - politics

      Market leader in all segments, where splunk competes. people focussed culture, high reward and recognition for top performers, a culture built on values and leading with empathy & heart. Splunkers generally feel part of the business/ culture and are supported by our leaders.

      Cons

      sometimes high growth can challenge our people. we are no longer a start up or a 100,000 employee orgainsation. there are a lot of opportunities within splunk for career advancement but may take more navigation given it is now a larger business. this can be challenging for some employees who are not based in US
