      Stable Job Okay Benefits Weekends Off (depending on position) Close to Riverfront Park (depending on department)

      Extremely Poor Compensation Practically Non-Existent free parking Benefits aren't as good as they used to be (higher premiums/deductibles) Not a lot of room for growth Heavy work load/can be high stress

      Favoritism at SCRAPS animal shelter

      Pros

      Really get to help animals and make their lives better, get close contact with so many kittens and puppys that come through the shelter.

      Cons

      They are a popularity contest here and will blatantly ignore the mistakes and damage caused by their favorite employees, while strictly enforcing every small thing for those employees who aren't close with the boss. They will promote those much less qualified if they like them, that's just how it works there so if you are looking for someplace where hard work and kindness/dedication to animals is valued over small talk then this isn't the place for you.

      The larger the office grows, the more complicated the office interactions become. Sometimes people have different opinions as to how the office should run.
