Many dedicated and supportive employees. Decent benefits.

Cons

Few clear paths for promotion or career progression. Insufficient opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement. Spokane County fails to invest in their employees and the resources they need to do their jobs effectively. Bargain-basement outdated technology and resources give the appearance of keeping costs low but obfuscates the countless additional work hours these cause. Lowest salaries for public sector work across the board. Benefits are good, but too short-staffed to be able to use allotted PTO.
