Pros

Spokeo takes good care of us, the office is open and fun. I feel like my ideas are heard and I respect the people I work with. Perks: - Catered lunches - Free snacks - Stocked fridges with drinks and beer - Ping pong, foosball, pool, video games (and time to play) - Lots of vacation and holidays - Flexible hours

Cons

The code base is older but there are a lot of great devs working hard to migrate and modernize with newer technology. In fact, this is less of a con to me because if everything was perfect, what would be left for me to engineer?

Pros

For our specific department, the key thing is the people you work with. Whether or not you agree on something, the end result is what matters in getting things done. We can all agree to disagree at the least as well as learn what we can do better the next time around. I love how our team, over time, becomes much stronger and always aware of potential improvements when it comes to upcoming projects.

Cons

It's sometimes difficult when you realize you may be needed last minute and cannot be proactive in order to perform your best. There may be times where a few team members don't ask for help when they should. This may be a small issue, but can definitely be resolved easily.

1. Free snacks and daily lunches. 2. Low-key work environment

Cons

1. Poor managerial framework for decision making. The Managment does not have a lot of credibility amongst the developers, project managers, etc. 2.3. It is a low-key passive-aggressive environment. Don't expect SR. management to say what they mean and mean what they say. 3. A whole lot of meetings- that are complete time sucks and it is not uncommon for a 2-hour meeting to result in nothing but another meeting scheduled in order to have another try at making progress.
