First, I want to genuinely thank you for the feedback. It is extremely important for us to know when and where we are not meeting our own expectations. I agree that consistent and open communications from management enable our employees to understand the business reasons behind our decisions and goes a long way towards establishing trust. This is one of the reasons we have modified the structure of Town Hall meetings to include a detailed summary of our results from the previous month. It's our hope that as we share more information about Spoonflower's progress, our employees will become increasingly more aware of how their efforts - team and individual - make the difference to Spoonflower's success. I'm sorry your experience with Spoonflower was disappointing. I wish you all the best in your next role.

Pros

Wonderful environment! I can't say enough good things about this company. It's a very unique place, I've never worked anywhere quite like it (most likely never will). Everyone is incredibly friendly and supervisors go above and beyond to accommodate team members. My opinion was always valued.

Cons

Because there is no other place like it, the company is forging into uncharted territory. Patience is sometimes needed whilst management works on an issue.

Pros

- Excellent advancement opportunities, growth is encouraged and supported - leadership actively helps us to achieve our goals - The pay a living wage - I am constantly inspired creatively. I have learned so much about fabric, sewing, design, art, etc. - Fantastic coworkers - everyone I work with at Spoonflower is friendly, hard working and invested - Supportive and hands on Leadership - from supervisors up to the President and CEO of the company can be found working alongside the "boots on the ground" to get the job done. - Good benefits - our health benefits are great and Spoonflower makes it a priority to ensure that employees don't have to pay too much out of pocket for health care - Maternity and Paternity Leave is available - Free monthly fabric allowance - Flexibility in regards to handling family issues - Fun Work Environment - I don't go a day without laughing at work - Constant improvements - it's great to be on the front lines for such an innovative company - Adorable Spaces - It makes a difference that I can walk into work at a place that is so beautiful, I have worked many places where the decor was boring and just spoke to the blah nature of the company Spoonflower's work spaces are bright, cheery and gorgeous. -I am happy to go to work everyday

Cons

- My craft room is beginning to resemble an episode of Hoarders from all the free fabric - I bore my friends by talking about how much I like my job too much - Obsession with good fabric scissors has increased substantially - Location is too close to a lot of delicious restaurants, daily trips for Korean BBQ at Na'mean can't be advisable
