Pros

Your coworkers, which is really subjective to which one you work at.

Cons

Doesnt keep their word, makes promises they don’t keep. Pays less than Supercuts hourly which is sad. Commission is very difficult to achieve and when you do it’s a pathetic 50 cents more an hour. Does not care about quality of haircuts. Quantity of cuts, upselling services, and selling product are what is valued. Does not listen to staff feedback. Will work you to the bone and absolutely does not value you as an employee.

Pros

Good for building up a clientele, flexible hours

Cons

Time off policy & benefits are not good. All of the stylists wish we had set hours/days instead of a different schedule every single week. I've also been here 3+ years and have never gotten a raise, which has been hard on all of the employees. They changed the pay structure a few years ago, whereby we used to get pretty decent bonuses on our paychecks every 2 weeks for service upsells and product commission, but now the barriers are MUCH higher, making it nearly impossible to get bonuses anymore, which has also decreased our overall income.
