Pros

The coworkers are such a pleasure to work with. They're fun, outgoing, and share many of the same interests I do (because why else would the want to work at Sports Basement?). Managers were considerate and the employee discount makes an active lifestyle much more affordable.

Cons

It can be tiring. I worked during the seasons, so we had hordes of customers coming in -- you're on your feet all the time, but I don't necessarily consider this a bad thing.

Pros

I've never had a better boss, and my co-workers are all wonderful, smart, down-to-earth people, which makes work a pleasure every day. The management team cares a lot about their customers, which is refreshing and honest, and puts a great deal of effort into transparency and value.

Cons

Wages are low. This is not the place to work at if you value money more than general quality of life. The management team is small and hard to break into as well.
