- An engineering team full of bright, collaborative and supportive people - There's a myriad of opportunities to work across the tech stack, and you're given the full support and empowerment to grow and develop - Engineering leadership is stellar

Cons

Overall top down communication needs improvement. Understandably in a start up environment things change quickly, however the leadership has leaned more towards a more reactive (and sometimes absent) communication style. This typically leads to news being discovered through the grapevine.

Pros

Incredibly smart and talented team with a strong lean towards humility and collaboration. Engineering leader empowers individuals to own projects end-to-end and share directly with other teams and customers. Great opportunities for ownership and impact.

Cons

Career growth is a bit stagnant and nebulous due to the size of the team, but as the team has grown, more structure has been put into place that will allow for advancement and growth opportunities in the future. Like in any startup, the executive team can sometimes create thrash by passing down a high-priority, short-timeline feature request to close a specific deal.

Pros

The CEO not only has high intellect, but also cares deeply about the people at Spot AI, and is fiercely moral--a rare combination that has helped the company navigate hyper growth. Each member of the founding team has a highly complementary skill set. The product vision is massive. The team iterates quickly. It would be challenging to find many other companies with such a compelling product. The people at Spot AI are phenomenal. They are striving to accomplish something great together. It's a pleasure to work alongside them.

Cons

Every company growing at this rate hits bumps in the road. Not every decision the company makes is the right one. What I've appreciated is that even after missteps, they always right the ship. And we keep moving ahead.
