Pros

Being employed with this cfompany is so accomodating with the ability to manage your patient schedule.

Cons

The driving has to be loved because there may be a big difference in the mileage gap from client to client.

Pros

I have been the Clinical Office Manager at Spring Valley Hospice for a little over 2 years now. I stepped way out of my comfort zone when I accepted this job 2 years ago, and I am so glad that I did. I have learned so much and grown professionally in a way that I would never been able to do at my previous job. Working in hospice can be hard at times, but it is so rewarding. We have an awesome team, and I am blessed to have coworkers who are more like family.

Cons

Obviously there will always be cons to any job. That's a given, but the pros of working for SVH will always far outweigh any minor cons.

Pros

Working for Spring Valley has been the best decision i've ever made, for myself, my family, my work-life balance, etc. This job is flexible and helps me be there for my child and family when needed. Working for this company has given me pride in what I do, an appreciation for life in all stages, and a sense of accomplishment. Management is always a phone call away and always there to help. The workplace culture at Spring Valley is more like family than work. The hardest part of my job is losing the patients after you grow close to them for so long, but knowing that you helped them live out the last days of their lives how they wanted, makes all the difference. The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting new patients and seeing them happy that someone is there to help them. They light up when they know we will meet them wherever they are at in their disease process.

Cons

Charting from home, working some weekends on charting and various scheduling things.
