      1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio. Mostly rude MDs, upper management doesn't care. The bottom line is money.

      Manager is Killing the Unit

      Good coworkers but they are leaving in droves— and manager couldn’t care less

      Cons

      Mandatory call shifts 2x/month New NICU manager here over a year now and actively avoids speaking to staff— not a single staff meeting Many significant changes being made by manager but without any support such as resources, education, staff meetings, etc. Small unit so low census and not very high acuity Everyone here seems miserable now
