HR is not for the employee, it’s for the employer
Pros
Not really a whole lot of pros; just one really. My boss is amazing and works with whenever I need some extra help with work. She is the kind of boss who wants to build a connection and she does that.
Cons
They do not give cost of loving raises as much as they should. Living in and paying for an apartment in Bend is impossible on what I make and it shouldn’t be that way. They also complain about not having enough money to give their hard working employees raises and yet they go around hiring ‘Big Wigs’ that they don’t need (at $250,000 per year!!!). They also consider continually spend money on new furniture, TVs, and things the hospital could do without. I work in a hospital where they pay me less than the average person in the same position in Bend. I work my butt off and yet someone else in my department, who has less experience than me, gets paid more than me! What is that?!
