Pay is very good and is available online by searching for the ONA contract for this hospital. NICU coworkers are like a family and really work together. Management always has its issues everywhere you go, but this hospital has the best management I have worked under. Manager rounds every morning to ask if anything is needed or if we have any concerns. Ratios are great!

Cons

Management turnover seems to be very high, you have to float to either PP or Peds in rotation (not that bad), census can be low most of the time so being floated or called off will happen during these times. Overall, not many cons to working here!

Loved working in the ER and OR, fast-paced, helped a lot of people.

Cons

An awful employer whose only goal is to make money. They added new editions to the building with 1970's surgical equipment, thus putting a band-aid on a shotgun wound. The pay is worse than someone working at McDonald's.
