Pros

Good pay. New facility will be world class. Theoretically, this is a Planetree facility,which signifies patient centered care as well as care for the caregiver.

Cons

Planetree apparently no longer pertains to employees. Units, that were once "teams," are now groups of individuals beaten down by management and who are leaving the organization rapidly. Poor morale. Very poor middle management. Sadly, this will all negatively affect patient care.

Pros

In theory, the hospital subscribes to the Planetree philosophy, which represents a passionate culture towards patients and employees alike. The hospital is physically growing and will be a major regional facility.

Cons

Poor morale which is a direct result of extremely poor management. While this was once a great place to work, employees are now leaving at a frenetic pace. Limited career ladder. Chronically short staffed, which leads to chronically unhappy employees.
