Pros
As long as you do what you are told and expected to do, then all will be well.
Cons
No room for innovation and improving process quality and efficiency. Change is not looked at positively. When process changes are needed there is nothing but excruciatingly poor planning and execution. Executives run the company based on what increases their shares at the end of each quarter, so there is an unnecessary amount of sub contract work when simple in house solutions can be made (but that takes too long in the short run and there is never a sufficient budget for research and development). So again, if you’re looking for somewhere to be a creative and innovative engineer, StandardAero is not for you. Otherwise if you like just being told what to do and doing it with no fuss then this would be a great job for you.
