      Pros

      Its steady income, and there are are opportunities to get good experience on various aircraft.

      Cons

      MRO Sr management is very unprofessional, immature, condescending, lacks ability to positively encourage, motivate, and promote a "team" culture with being disrespectful. The culture is toxic.

      StandardAero is a great place to start a career

      Pros

      StandardAero is a great company. The work-life balance is perfect as you typically work 40-50 hours a week but it's easy to make appointments. There are a lot of positive people who bring a good enthusiasm to the shop that makes it a really easy place to work. You typically get out early on Fridays, usually between 12-3 depending on your work load.

      Cons

      They pay a little below an average starting salary position for an engineer. There are a few negative people that will do everything they can to bring down the mood. It doesn't seem to like there is a lot of room to move up in the business though as most of the managers are younger people(30-40's)
