Pros

Beautiful campus, good support for employees, free gym membership, good environmental policies, very forward thinking and helpful in turning ideas into businesses.

Cons

people are far too pretentious, doesn't live up to its name, the area around Stanford is way too expensive to live in on a postdoc salary.
