Pros

Benefits are great especially for parents or expecting parents. 12 weeks paid parental leave @67%. 401k contribution up to 5% match. Corporate values match with internal culture (at least in my office / leadership, exceptions detailed below)

Cons

Business processes and management decisions driven by engineering and revenues, blind spot on personnel management practices and planners (low-revenue) teams. Difficult promotional landscape mid-career. Tough on project managers (just a lot on their shoulders).

Pros

Salary is OK but benefits are not even slightly competitive. No bonuses too.

Cons

This company sells you a dream during the interview — all about collaboration, values, and career growth — but the reality is far from it. They lay off people without competitive separation pay, and to make it worse, you won’t receive anything if you secure a new job before their “provided” end date. It's a cruel double-edged sword: either stay unemployed just to get a small separation, or move on quickly and get nothing. Their systems are outdated, slow, and not built for productivity. They still use Remote Desktop instead of modern cloud-based tools like SharePoint — and the performance is frustratingly bad. The company culture is stuck in the past, dominated by old-school engineers resistant to innovation. As for the workload, it's brutal. You're expected to finish complex tasks under unrealistic timelines and low budgets, a classic flaw in consulting setups. Management doesn’t care about your wellbeing — their only priority is pleasing the client, even if it means burning out their people. Honestly, avoid this company unless you’re okay being treated like a disposable robot. There’s no real support, no transparency, and no future here. Don’t be fooled by the nice words. Protect your sanity.
