Pros

Starbucks offers great benefits even for part timers. The overall employees were always helpful and respected thru-out the company. There is always room to grow within the company.

Cons

When I first started it was known as the "Golden' years of the company. Training was always given even when it was not needed.

Pros

Starbucks offers employees the opportunity to have a flexible schedule, to get paid twice a week (tips and paycheck), and to receive great benefits (health, vacation hours etc.)

Cons

Management isn't as competent as you would expect for such a high profile company. Not very facilitating in your growth in the company.Having a degree and 3 years of experience means nothing in terms of being promoted. My experience though is very different from many others because of the specific location I've worked in.
