Pros

It's a really fun environment. I wouldnt want to do it forever, but I still keep in touch with the people i worked with. It wasn't like a "normal" office job. Those people became some of my best friends.

Cons

Can be hard labor, hard to get a shift covered, very intimate setting...which means there is drama.

Pros

Flexible schedule, benefits for p/t people.

Cons

Early mornings and late nights all in the same week. Continue to take away benefits and not give enough labor.

Pros

Starbucks offers benefits to all partners for a little as 20 hours/ week. Starbucks encourages a team environment. Starbucks values a balance between work and family.

Cons

It can be discouraging working as a barista at Starbucks as it relates to increasing your hourly wage. You need to remember that there are other benefits to working at Starbucks such as medical benefits, flexibility, and free coffee.
