Supportive team environment, but several workplace challenges

Pros

Colleagues were friendly and supportive, contributing to a positive team atmosphere. Exposure to customer service processes within the insurance industry. Opportunities to learn and develop problem‑solving skills through daily interactions.

Cons

Workload and expectations could feel high relative to the compensation. Performance metrics and call monitoring created a consistently high‑pressure environment. Time‑off policies were strict, with limited paid time off available after the initial probation period. Flexibility regarding personal or medical situations was sometimes limited. Leadership communication and management approach could have been more consistent and supportive.

Pros

Great pay, schedule and benefits

Cons

The time they want you to complete a claim is sometimes not realistic for the situation of the claim. They care more about metrics vs quality. I know that’s common, but it doesn’t show empathy at all to someone who just got in a major car accident and claim needs details. They reward people with shorter metric times where claims are incomplete vs someone who does what they are suppose to w a little longer time.
