      Pros

      real work, real pay, and real experience. State Farm research and development center has very relax and comfortable working environment. Managers and other analysts would like to help interns very much. It's a good place for graining internship experience, and polishing up skills in a real world.

      Cons

      Research and development center is around 40 mins to the headquarter, where most professionals are working. Therefore, contacting a professional at corporate could not be settled in a direct way of face to face meeting. If more professionals are around, interns would have more opportunity to grow faster.

      Stability, brand recognition, loyal customers that for some reason don't shop around even though they should

      Cons

      Over-priced product, lots of customer complaints, limited product range, restrictive single source supply, company structure hampers lead generation under do-not-call rules

      Great brand name and generally positive customer perception. Wide product range has over 145 products. Generally provides a base salary for producers.

      Cons

      Compared to other insurance companies, the commission structure is low for life, health and non-core products. Internal competition from other producers in the office.
