Business Outlook
Pros
They offer independence and freedom and they also have a great name recognition within the community. They are a great auto insurance company and offer fast customer service.
Cons
Commission only and no real support. I was not supported well in offering annuities to clients. Their back office was too slow and did not respond adequately enough. I also did not wish to work on a commission only basis, some type of draw or minimum salary would have helped to build my business. I also was not able to offer any other mutual funds other than State Farm's own mutual funds and they also don't offer stocks and bonds to clients.
