Pros

-Work Like balance, work hours -Good compensation for Midwest standard of living -Lots of opportunities for lateral moves and learning about different technology areas at State Farm -Flexible location- WFH or Hybrid

Cons

-Can be lonely/difficult to navigate if you're new, as the organization forgets about their younger employees in virtual/hybrid environment -Salaries jump up fairly well your first few years, but tends to cap out if you're not consistently getting promoted

Pros

It's nice and fun, quite redundant work within a smaller team.

Cons

Tough to get good mentors since teams and members move around a lot, however if you get a good mentor it will make life easy.
